DECEMBER WRAP UP

DECEMBER WRAP UP

Happy New Year’s Eve! It is crazy to think that there are only a few hours left of 2020. It was a year that changed so many things in everyone’s lives and it felt as if it would never end but at the same time, it went by in a flash.

NOVEMBER WRAP UP

November has been a slow but nice reading month for me. I only read one book this month as I have decided to take a bit of a break from reading for the rest of the year. With summer vacation starting, I have been wanting to get to other things before the end of the year.

TRICK OR TREAT BOOK TAG

Today, I will be doing a book tag a bit different than the others I have done so far! I first saw this book tag from Sunstar Books and thought it would be perfect since it is almost Halloween.

SEPTEMBER WRAP UP

SEPTEMBER WRAP UP

September has been the slowest month ever when it comes to anything bookish. I have only read one book this month, mainly because of a reading slump, and hauled only three books. To be honest, it was really amazing to take a break and to take things slower.

AUGUST WRAP UP

AUGUST WRAP UP

August was not the best reading month for me. At the beginning of the month, I was so motivated to get a lot of reading done but as the month went on, I found myself in somewhat of a reading slump. Despite this, I still read five books and found some really incredible books.

#BlackLivesMatter — Ways to Help

“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.” —Nelson Mandela

Favourite Quote at the Moment

“What she needs are stories. Stories are a way to preserve one’s self. To be remembered. And to forget. Stories come in so many forms: in charcoal, and in song, in paintings, poems, films. And books. Books, she has found, are a way to live a thousand lives—or to find strength in a very long one.”
