OCTOBER BOOK HAUL

OCTOBER BOOK HAUL

A few days ago, I went through all the books I own, just to organise them a bit, and I was really shocked to see how many books I have yet to read (almost all of them). AUGUST BOOK HAUL

This month, I hauled quite a lot of books. Almost half of these where given to me by publishers, which I am so grateful for. The books I did buy are ones I am truly excited to get to soon and what makes this haul special is that I bought my first physical copy in many months.

JULY BOOK HAUL

I have not bought many books this month but did receive some wonderful review copies from publishers, which I am immensely grateful for. The books that I did buy, I am planning on reading in next month for a readathon that I am really excited for.

JUNE BOOK HAUL

These past few months have been a major wake up call not just to me but to many other people as well. We are facing very difficult but important times and so, to educate myself more, I bought a few important books this month and I was also lucky enough to have received a handful of wonderful books.

MAY BOOK HAUL

I bought quite a few interesting books outside of my favourite genre this month, which I am planning to binge read some of in July, and I also received highly anticipated books from publishers and authors.

#BlackLivesMatter — Ways to Help

“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.” —Nelson Mandela

Favourite Quote at the Moment

“What she needs are stories. Stories are a way to preserve one’s self. To be remembered. And to forget. Stories come in so many forms: in charcoal, and in song, in paintings, poems, films. And books. Books, she has found, are a way to live a thousand lives—or to find strength in a very long one.”
