At the beginning of the year, I told myself to only buy books whenever I visited the bookstores in the city, and I was doing well until the second half of the year. I honestly do not know what came over me because I hauled most of the books in this haul in only a few months. However, since it was my birthday and Christmas, I wanted to go all out as I rarely buy any books on these occasions.

This year, especially these last few months, has been really special and exciting. Not only did I receive many books from publishers and a bookstore, but I got so many fantastic opportunities after years of being part of the book community. Getting books to read and review always puts the biggest smile on my face, and it feels so rewarding. I am incredibly grateful for every opportunity and special moment this year, no matter how big or small.

Receiving books from publishers and/or authors always puts the biggest smile on my face. As a book blogger and bookstagrammer, getting books to read and review is one of the best feelings I have ever experienced.
