Review Policy

Kindly send an email to whiterose.stories@gmail.com with all the details of the book and/or series, the synopsis and information about the author.

Preferred Genres Include:

  • Fantasy
  • Fiction
  • Non-Fiction
  • Poetry
  • Young Adult (depends on what the book is about)
  • Mystery/Thriller

Keep in mind that all books are open to suggestions. The top-mentioned genres are only mentions of preference.

Forms That Will Be Accepted:

  • Physical copies (hardcover or paperback)*
  • Ebooks (Kindle format or PDF)
  • Audiobooks

*Only if it/they can be sent to South Africa at no cost to the reviewer.

Note that the rating system used is as used on Goodreads.

★★☆☆☆  |  Did not really enjoy (and probably did not finish).

★☆☆☆☆  |  Disliked and could not finish.

Important Disclaimers:

Please note that if the book provided is not enjoyed, it will most likely not be read any further. Know that a book is always given a fair chance (50-100 pages).

If a book cannot be finished or was read later as scheduled/requested, the author will be notified as soon as possible.

As a person with various obligations during the day and many book-related tasks to accomplish during the evening, a busy schedule is expected. Therefore, authors and publishers should remember that all books provided may not be gotten to immediately. A reasonable reading time should be allowed (between two to eight weeks).

Unless the book is an ARC (advance review copy), no book will be rushed to be reviewed.
