DECEMBER BOOK HAUL

December is the first month in a while since I acquired quite a few books. Since the start of the pandemic, I decided to stop buying physical books. So, these past months, I have been reading mostly ebooks and at the moment, I think it is what works best for me.

NOVEMBER BOOK HAUL

I have not really hauled books this month but I did receive a book that I preordered a while back, which I am excited to share with you as it is one I have been wanting to read for the longest time.

OCTOBER BOOK HAUL

A few days ago, I went through all the books I own, just to organise them a bit, and I was really shocked to see how many books I have yet to read (almost all of them). As I have really little space left to put them, I have been turning to ebooks more this year and to me, it is just a lot more convenient.

SEPTEMBER BOOK HAUL

September was the first month in a while where I did not buy a lot of books. I took a bit of a break from everything bookish this month and it felt good to not spend a lot of money as I already have so many unread ones.

AUGUST BOOK HAUL

This month, I hauled quite a lot of books. Almost half of these where given to me by publishers, which I am so grateful for. The books I did buy are ones I am truly excited to get to soon and what makes this haul special is that I bought my first physical copy in many months.

#BlackLivesMatter — Ways to Help

“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.” —Nelson Mandela

Favourite Quote at the Moment

“What she needs are stories. Stories are a way to preserve one’s self. To be remembered. And to forget. Stories come in so many forms: in charcoal, and in song, in paintings, poems, films. And books. Books, she has found, are a way to live a thousand lives—or to find strength in a very long one.”
