December went by in the blink of an eye and so, the New Year is only a few days away. I received two review copies that I am really excited to tell you about. Without further ado, let us look at the books I received!
FROM JONATHAN BALL PUBLISHERS
Hag: Forgotten Folktales Retold by Daisy Johnson & Other Authors

Here are sisters fighting for the love of the same woman, a pregnant archaeologist unearthing impossible bones and lost children following you home. A panther runs through the forests of England and pixies prey upon violent men.
From the islands of Scotland to the coast of Cornwall, the mountains of Galway to the depths of the Fens, these forgotten folktales howl, cackle and sing their way into the 21st century, wildly reimagined by some of the most exciting women writing in Britain and Ireland today.
Home Body by Rupi Kaur

Rupi Kaur constantly embraces growth, and in home body, she walks readers through a reflective and intimate journey visiting the past, the present, and the potential of the self. home body is a collection of raw, honest conversations with oneself – reminding readers to fill up on love, acceptance, community, family, and embrace change. Illustrated by the author, themes of nature and nurture, light and dark, rest here.
i dive into the well of my body
and end up in another world
everything i need
already exists in me
there’s no need
to look anywhere else
– home
I just wanted to give a special thank you to Jonathan Ball Publishers for all the review copies they have sent me this year. I appreciate each copy so much and cannot wait to catch up on all of them in the new year.

Keep reading and never stop telling stories.
