Happy Halloween! I read quite a few amazing books this month that I would love to share with you. I also found a new all-time favourite of mine, so let us look at the books I read this month!
Coraline
by Neil Gaiman

R A T I N G :
This book is one I have been wanting to get to for such a long time and I am so happy that I finally read it. I honestly did not think I would love this story as much as I did.
It kept me glued to my seat and I really flew through it. Coraline is such a strong character and I loved the moral of the story. This book teaches you that the grass is not always greener on the other side, to appreciate what you have and to be strong and face your fears.
It is the perfect Halloween read and I will reread it many more times in the future!
Girl, Serpent, Thorn
by Melissa Bashardoust

R A T I N G :
I decided to read this book on a whim the other day and wow, I loved it so much. It was absolutely captivating!
The writing was so good and the amount of plot twists this book has, still has me reeling. Just when you think you have got the storyline figured out, the opposite happens.
It kept me at the edge of my seat the entire time!
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
by V.E. Schwab

R A T I N G :
This book exploded in the book community this month and with good reason. I will be writing a full review later on as I still need to finish a few chapters but oh my gosh, it certainly is a new one of my all-time favourite books.
The writing and story is so beautiful and the characters feel so real. I can vividly picture them in my mind and it feels as if I know almost everything about them. I truly am elated that this is my first V.E. Schwab book!
Film for Her
by Orion Carloto

September Love
by Lang Leav

Talk to Me Always: Poetry, Prose and Photography
by Alexi Lubomirski

I will be writing full reviews for all three poetry books this coming month as I have not yet started/finished them. Tonight, I am planning on binge reading them but I am so excited to let you know what I think of them really soon!

If you would like to see what my thoughts are on the books I will be reading as I read them during the month, be sure to follow me on Twitter and Instagram.
Keep reading, stay safe and never stop telling stories.
