September has been the slowest month ever when it comes to anything bookish. I have only read one book this month, mainly because of a reading slump, and hauled only three books. To be honest, it was really amazing to take a break and to take things slower.
A lot of simple, little things changed this month. Now that I think back, the change came with the change of season. New things appeared in my life as flowers appeared with the spring, which sounds super cliché, I know, but it makes everything that much more special.
I finally started decluttering and making changes to my bedroom after months of wanting to redo it, updated my makeup and skincare products to suit all my needs and made a few personal changes to help me feel healthier and happier.
Even though I did not get to nearly as many books as I usually do, I truly appreciate the slower pace I decided to take from now on. I am the kind of person who wants to do many things but at my own pace. So, from now on, I will really be trying to take things slower, accept what is and isn’t and to be more present. I love books with my whole heart but it feels so good to read only as much as I can/want to and to pay more attention to other things.
Foundryside (The Founders Trilogy #1)

R A T I N G :
When I first started reading this book, I immediately thought of Sarah J. Maas’ Throne of Glass series. It felt so similar to that world, which I absolutely loved.
I feel like such a bad book blogger. I still need to read a bit of the book by the time this blog post is up, therefore I will try to write a review with all my thoughts really soon as I always want to finish a book first before sharing my thoughts.
All that I will be saying is that it is a really good book and I love the writing. Be sure to keep an eye out for my review, hopefully, soon!

If you would like to see what my thoughts are on the books I will be reading as I read them during the month, be sure to follow me on Twitter and Instagram.
Keep reading, stay safe and never stop telling stories.

I loved foundryside! I was supposed to read the sequel this month but didn’t have time
