This month has been quite a busy reading month for me. I managed to read ten books, which I am really happy about. I also took a bit of time off from social media and it really helped me get more reading done.
Six of Crows (Six of Crows #1)
by Leigh Bardugo

R A T I N G :
I first read this duology in last year and really ended up loving it. The characters have a special place in my heart and so, I have been wanting to reread the two books ever since. Also, I am so super excited for the Netflix series! I think at least about it once a day and I just cannot wait any longer.
This reread was absolutely amazing and I just love Kaz, Inej, Nina and all the other characters so much. It was so fun returning to this world and I think I loved it more the second time around.
Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows #2)
by Leigh Bardugo

R A T I N G :
Out of the two books, this one is the one I enjoyed the most. So many things happened in this book and tears were streaming down my face. I love the characters so much and can just never get enough of the writing.
Rereading these two books for the #SixOfRereads readathon was so fun and I am so glad I decided to participate.
One of Us Is Lying (One of Us Is Lying #1)
by Karen M. McManus

R A T I N G :
I have been wanting to read this book for years and am so happy to have finally done so. This book was great and I really enjoyed the plot of the story, although I easily guessed who the murderer was. For a debut novel, this book really was well written and I can understand why so many readers loved it.
One of Us Is Next (One of Us Is Lying #2)
by Karen M. McManus

R A T I N G :
This book was such a great thriller! Not only did I try to guess who the murderer was the entire time, but my answer was not nearly accurate enough. No one could have easily guessed the correct person. I was not able to put it down and I still cannot get the ending out of my head.
I highly recommend this book if you are in the mood for a gripping YA thriller/mystery!
The Hate U Give (The Hate You Give #1)
by Angie Thomas

R A T I N G :
I have been wanting to read this book for such a long time. This book was just as amazingly written as I thought it would be. Angie Thomas is such a phenomenal author as I felt so many emotions while reading this book.
It was such an important, educating, impactful and memorable read that I will be recommending to anyone and everyone. I cannot wait for the author’s upcoming release Concrete Rose but will be watching the movie of The Hate U Give and reading her latest release On the Come Up in the meantime.
The Black Kids
by Christina Hammonds Reed

R A T I N G :
Honestly, I am still thinking and gathering my thoughts about this book. Many things are being tackled in this book: privilege, racism as well as finding your own identity as a teenager.
This book deals with many important subjects whilst teaching the reader that one should stand up for what matters, even against the people you thought of as friends.
I do not want to give away too much as I will be posting my review for a blog tour in a few days and because I am still trying to find the words to describe how I felt about this book.
Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse & Breaking Dawn
(The Twilight Saga #1, #2, #3 & #4)
by Stephenie Meyer

R A T I N G :
TWILIGHT — 4.5/5 | NEW MOON— 4/5 | ECLIPSE — 4/5 | BREAKING DAWN — 4/5
As the new Twilight book, Midnight Sun, is coming out next month, I decided to binge read the series for the first time along with rewatching the films.
I ended up loving the books more than I thought I would. The writing is not the best and Bella did quite irritate me at times but I flew through the books considering their size. I enjoyed returning to the town of Forks, for the first time through the books, with all its vampires. I enjoyed the books a bit better than the films but overall, it was a lot of fun watching them as I read the books.
Midnight Sun is a book I am really looking forward too as I am super excited to read Edward’s story. I think I will be doing a series review after I read the newest book but I am not entirely sure yet.
If you would like to see what my thoughts are on the books I will be reading as I read them during the month, be sure to follow me on Twitter and Instagram.
Keep reading, stay safe and never stop telling stories.

Wow, awesome reviews.
