This book tag is yet another one I have been wanting to take part of for a long time and I am so excited to finally do it. I recently read the trilogy and I have to say, I ended up loving it a lot more than I thought I would.
I first saw this book tag on Wifi and Novels, so a big thank you to her for inspiring me to take part in this one and to the original creator of this tag, Xandra from Starry Sky Books!
JUDE — a character who would probably kill you in your sleep.

Aelin from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. Do not get me wrong, I really love her and she is one of my most memorable characters but she is quite scary and if she needed to, she could easily kill anyone in their sleep.
CARDAN — a character who seems like a bad guy but is ultimately more complex than you thought.

Severus Snape from the Harry Potter series. I honestly do not know how to feel about him. My heart goes out to him for everything he went through but he should have made better choices. He continued to live in the past which poisoned him and made it too easy for the darkness to get through.
LOCKE — a character (or plot twist) that made you want to throw the book.

Cardan from The Wicked King by Holly Black. I am honestly still not over that ending (from the second book in the trilogy).
TARYN — a character who deceived you.

Hunt Athalar from House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas. I do not want to spoil anything for those who have not read the book yet, so all I am going to say is that there was a part in the book where I did not like him at all. In the end, I loved him again but yes, he broke my heart.
VIVI — a book that was significantly different from the others in its series.

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. I can never get enough of this book because it is the best out of the others. So many things happened as there were a lot of twists and turns, and the characters developed significantly.
VALERIAN — a character who just needs to die (or, you know, get stabbed).

Tamlin from the ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas. I honestly cannot stand him. He is an example of everything that a toxic relationship consists of.
OAK — a smol character you would protect at all costs.

Lehabah from House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas. I instantly well in love with this little fire sprite. She is one of the cutest and funniest characters ever and I wish she could be my friend.
THE CRUEL PRINCE — a book that surprised you with a twist.

Unravel the Dusk by Elizabeth Lim. I wholeheartedly believed that the book was not going to have a happy ending and I was prepared to have my heart completely broken. So, I was pleasantly surprised by the ending.
THE WICKED KING — a book you thought was better (or worse) than the first in the series.
One of Us is Next by Karen M. McManus was a lot better than One of Us is Lying. I found myself a lot more immersed in the second book and had a very difficult time guessing who the murderer was.
THE QUEEN OF NOTHING — a book you’re excited for, but know nothing about.

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir. I do not know anything about this series but I have been wanting to binge read the books for such a long time. I have heard nothing but amazing things about them all and am really hoping to get to them soon.
Please feel free to take part if you want to. I had such a fun time doing this tag!
Keep reading and never stop telling stories.

Oh my gosh I love your answers and all the fanart 😍😍 also 110% on the ending for Unravel the Dusk, I literally felt like I couldn’t breathe for most of the book because the happy ending kept slipping farther and farther away 😂
