This book was my most anticipated release for 2020 and it was much darker than I expected. I struggled a bit to get into the book but it was so worth it in the end. It is one of my favourites and I will never stop thinking about it.

Whenever I am in the mood for a light read, that I know will bring me comfort, I turn to the first Harry Potter book. The world and characters make me so happy and I just wish I could be there, alongside Harry, experiencing everything in person.

I honestly do not know how to feel about this book. It is always talked about by so many people from the book community but I did not like it as much as everyone else. I mean, it is a good book but I just do not completely understand all the hype. I am hoping to continue the rest of the series really soon and that I will get into the story a bit more because I really want to love it as much as everyone else does.
CHEESECAKE — a book that you’d recommend to everyone.
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

Inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, this is a powerful and gripping YA novel about one girl’s struggle for justice.
This book was such an amazing read. I have been wanting to get to it for a while and was so happy to have finally done so. It was such an important and impacting read and it is one I want everyone to pick up.
COFFEE — a book that you started but never finished.
Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

This book is one I picked up in last year because of all the hype and after a hundred or so pages, I put it down. It was not badly written at all but I did not feel in the mood for it and could not really understand what all the hype was about. I am really hoping to get back into it soon and that I will end up loving it like everyone else.

I read this one a while back, mainly because of all the hype it has received over the years. I loved it as much as I thought I would and thought the writing was really beautiful and lyrical and it made me tear up (especially the ending).
