WATCHED IN MARCH

This month has been a great reading month for me, therefore I have not watched many series and films. Books help me escape better than anything else. I have decided to cancel my Netflix subscription to just spend all my free time on reading. I always have been the kind of person who prefers reading to watching something and in a way, I am so glad that feeling returned.

I am sure I will still watch an episode or two, or a movie but as it would not be enough to write a blog post about, I will add a month or two together.

Anyway, let us look at what I watched this month.

F I L M S

MIB: International (2019)

Rating: 3 out of 5.

One afternoon, I was so bored that I just clicked on any film I could find on Netflix without really knowing what it was about. I do not have much to say about this one. I did not really like it but it was not that bad. I did chuckle a few times but that was that. Action/Sci-fi is not something I normally watch. I liked Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.

Dark Shadows (2012)

Rating: 2 out of 5.

What did I watch? I am laughing at the silliness of this film. Thinking back, I would maybe give it half a star more but as I was watching it, all I could think was that I wanted it to be over. This is honestly one of the weirdest films I have ever watched. It was a fantasy horror comedy but I cannot remember laughing once. It is probably not that bad but I did not like it at all. I absolutely love Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Eva Green and I think they played their characters well. I just did not like the story.

Friends (S6:E1—S6:E5)

I excessively binged the series last month. This month, however, I was not feeling it. With all the craziness going on in the world, I guess I am just not in the mood. As I mentioned, reading has been doing a better job at keeping me entertained. Hopefully I will be in the mood to pick up this series again in the next few months.

Good Witch (S2:E7)

In January, I binged the first season and a half. I love the calmness and easiness of the atmosphere and characters. Cassie Nightingale has a way of making me feel so relaxed with her soft and caring nature. I would like to start this series again this coming winter, along with Gilmore Girls. I think they would be perfect to binge while snuggling under a warm blanket and drinking cups of hot chocolate.

I guess that is it for series and films I watched this month. Reading has just been more important to me lately and with the upcoming O.W.L.’s Magical Readathon I am participating in, I would not have much time.

What series/movie always makes you feel better?

Keep on reading and never stop telling stories.
