I watched quite a few amazing films and series that I thoroughly enjoyed this month. There is one particular series I have been binging excessively and one film I have not been able to get out of my mind.
I tried to make reading more of a priority this month because I did not get as much done as I would have liked in January, but I have not quite been feeling in the mood to read lately. So, I decided to take it easy and read when I was in the mood to do so.
Anyway, let us look at what I have been watching.

Miss Americana (2020)
Let me start off by saying that I never watch documentaries. This one definitely changed the way I saw quite a few things. I never expected that I would enjoy it so much. Taylor Swift is an artist whose music and work I have always loved but I was just never interested enough interested to delve further. What I am trying to say is that I loved her work but I was never the biggest fan, you know?
After I saw this documentary, I saw her in a much clearer light. I got to know more about her and I think Taylor really poured her heart out. I admire her courage and determination, as well as her strength and willpower. She is, in my eyes, a really great role model because she teaches you to keep going and to work hard so that your dreams will come true. I think it was really well done and there were quite a few times where I found tears streaming down my cheeks.
Even if you do not know her that well, I think you will end up loving this one.

To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You (2020)
I completely forgot this film was coming out until I saw it on Netflix on the release day. Needless to say, I dropped everything I was doing and started watching it. The first movie was so hyped about and I do have to say, both these movies are really cute and easy to love.
Personally, I found them a bit too hyped about. It may just be because I am not a huge fan of clichés and there were quite I few times I could not help but cringe. The characters did irritate me a bit in this film and I found myself so frustrated with Peter. Do not get me wrong, I really loved this film and I am so excited to see what else is coming.
P.S. Being one of the biggest bookworms, I have been wanting to binge the trilogy for so long and I think it would be ideal to get to them soon.

Pride and Prejudice (2005)
I was really excited to finally get to watching this film as I have been wanting to for such a long time. I tried to watch the film as I read the book but ended up finishing the whole thing in one go.
I really loved the film, setting, characters and story. Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth are just so perfect and I could not get enough of them. The only thing that I want to mention is that I felt a bit lost at times. I had to rewind now and then because it felt as if I have missed something. That is probably just me but I just thought I should mention it. Overall, I really loved it and I think Keira Knightly did a fantastic job bringing Elizabeth Bennet to life.

All the Bright Places (2020)
This film has been one of my most anticipated ones for this year. After seeing it being released yesterday, I immediately started watching it. I read the book two years back and really loved it. I found it so heartbreaking yet beautiful at the same time. I do have to say, my reading style, taste and rating system have changed a lot over the past year and I believe if I were to reread it, my opinion and rating will be different.
I think the film was really well done and I ended up really enjoying it. The settings in the film were almost exactly how I pictured them in my head as I read the book, as well as the characters. My rating, I think, is between 4 to 4.5 stars but I like to give my films a full rating, so four stars it is.
It is a film I recommend you watch because it deals with such important topics. Trigger warning for depression, mental illness and suicide.

Friends (S2:E1—S5:E24)
I probably went way overboard with binging this one. Friends is a series I never thought I would like as much as I do. Personally, I only feel more intrigued the further I go on and I always find myself laughing one or two times during an episode. The only thing that majorly bothered me was Ross. I do not know why but he just irritated me so many times during the last few episodes I watched (probably an unpopular opinion).
Anyway, I am also so excited for the Friends reunion! I absolutely cannot wait to see what we shall get.

The Good Place (S1:E1—S1:E3)
A lot of people have been talking about this series and I was really intrigued as well.
Honestly, I think this series is so funny and I am excited to continue watching it. I may binge this one soon.

Gossip Girl (S1:E1)
I do not know much about this series but have heard about it quite a few times over the past couple of years. Apparently it is adapted from a book series and as a bookworm, that really got my interest.
The first episode was good but I just do not know if it is something I shall continue to watch. I may give it a try for another episode or two but it is just not my taste. I do not know, what do you think?

Keep on reading and never stop telling stories.
